Play Day: Assembly Required

About this event

Explore how things are made through hands-on activities that inspire creativity and curiosity. Play Day takes place Sunday, Nov. 8, from 10 a.m.–2 p.m. in the Ames Family Atrium at the Cleveland Museum of Art.

Families can build a mechanical paper model with Sears think[box], make a collage with Akron Children’s, and look through Tri-C’s scanning electron microscope. They can also draw on personal memories to make a recipe book, invent a place setting at a giant banquet table of art, and read in the Cleveland Public Library’s reading nook. A free coloring-book giveaway is also part of the day. Admission is free and no ticket is required. Visit clevelandart.org for details.
