Tree Biology and Planting with Heights Tree People

About this event

Understanding how trees grow can help us become better tree stewards. International Society of Arboriculture Certified Arborist Chris Vild will introduce the fundamentals of tree biology, then participants head outside for hands-on tree planting. Participants will learn the basics of planting, mulching, and staking a tree properly—skills that can make a significant difference in a young tree’s ability to thrive.

Registration through Heights Libraries will become available two weeks prior to the event date; they can be found online at https://events.heightslibrary.org/calendar/ . We hope you’ll join us, learn something new about trees, and become part of the growing culture of tree stewardship in our community!
