Robbie Hart is the ultimate master of ceremonies and New Jersey's favorite wedding singer, known for his ability to charm the crowd and guarantee a good time. But when his own fiancée leaves him stood up at the altar, Robbie’s heart is shattered, turning him into a newlywed’s worst nightmare—an embittered entertainer who begins aggressively sabotaging other people's weddings.

His downward spiral halts when he befriends Julia Sullivan, a warm-hearted waitress who works the floor at his gigs. Julia enlists Robbie's help to plan her upcoming wedding, and as they spend time together, an undeniable spark forms between them. The problem? Julia is set to marry Glenn, a slick Wall Street junk-bond broker who treats her like an afterthought. With time running out, Robbie must pull off the performance of a lifetime to win over the woman he loves before she walks down the aisle with the wrong man!
